Ichthyosis (ICT) is a scaling skin disease in which there is marked thickening of the outer layer of the skin and of the footpads. Research shows in U.S.A. only 7-12% of Golden Retrievers are Clear, 15-22% Carrier with the rest being Affected. Both Parents are Clear of Ichthyosis, so the litter is also clear.
